Company & Team Retreats in Lisbon & Surroundings — Coast, Wine Country, and Forested Hills, All Within an Hour
The easiest entry point in Europe for an international team retreat.
Lisbon is the easiest entry point in Europe for a company retreat: a non-stop flight from most major cities, an international airport 15 minutes from the city center, and a coast, mountain range, wine region, and three of Portugal's prettiest seaside towns all within an hour's drive. We plan retreats for international teams of 8 to 200 across Lisbon proper and the surrounding region — Sintra, Cascais, Setúbal, Arrábida, and Comporta.
Why host your company retreat in Lisbon?
Air access
Lisbon Airport (LIS) has direct flights from 100+ cities including New York, San Francisco, Toronto, São Paulo, Dubai, Lagos, and every major European hub. Most teams arrive within a single travel day.
Density of variety
Within 60 minutes of central Lisbon you can be in a UNESCO-listed forest (Sintra), on a sailing boat in Atlantic surf (Cascais), in a dolphin-watching reserve (Arrábida), or on the white-sand dunes of Comporta.
Year-round usability
290+ sunny days per year. Mild winters (12–18 °C), warm but not oppressive summers. The retreat window is essentially March through November, with the cooler months still very workable for indoor-heavy agendas.

Arrival dayHow much does a 3-day retreat in Lisbon cost?
All-inclusive ranges — accommodation, meals, ground transfers, activities, and our planning fee.
Casual / boutique
Small-group villa or boutique hotel, hands-on local vendors, relaxed pace.
Mid-range
Full villa takeover or four-star hotel, polished agenda, mix of activities and downtime.
High-end
Design hotels or private estates, premium activities, white-glove logistics throughout.
What moves the price most: time of year (May–June and September are peak), group size (under 15 people loses villa-takeover efficiency), and whether you want a single venue takeover or a hotel block. For a full component-by-component breakdown, see what a Portugal retreat typically costs → Lisbon is a frequent base for the corporate retreats in Portugal we plan.
When is the best time of year?
The shoulder seasons — April through mid-June and mid-September through October — are ideal. You get 20–26 °C (68–79 °F) days, lower hotel occupancy, and the best venues are still available with 6–10 weeks of notice.
March / November
Excellent value, occasional rain, fully workable for focus-heavy retreats.
July / August
Hot, busy, and 20–40% more expensive. We generally steer corporate clients away from these months unless you're tied to a school holiday.
December – February
Lisbon stays mild (12–17 °C). Good for indoor-heavy offsites and leadership retreats where the agenda matters more than the activities.
Comparing regions? Lisbon's closest rivals are Porto & the Douro Valley (similar city energy, 20–35% better value) and the Algarve (beach-first, year-round sun).
