Gonçalo Guerreiro

Gonçalo has organized tech conferences with over 5,000 attendees, summer courses for hundreds of international students, and team retreats within the companies where he has worked. Originally from Lisbon and with extensive operational experience combined with a genuine passion for travel and for sharing Portugal's hidden gems, he helps make every retreat seamless and memorable.

Bo Irik

Bo grew up between the Netherlands and Portugal and co-founded SeaBookings, an online marketplace for watersports and boat tours in Southern Europe. With hands-on experience creating unique experiences, from running tours in Lisbon to corporate events at sea and now a co-working space in nature, she brings an international mindset and a passion for building communities to every retreat.

Nathalie Ehrnleitner

Nathalie is half Austrian and half Brazilian, born in Germany and fluent in Portuguese, German, English and Spanish. She has worked with Bo for over eight years, gaining extensive experience managing groups and ensuring every request is met for unforgettable experiences. Based in Burgau in southern Portugal, she runs operations with the help of her two dogs and cats - her most loyal (and furry) co-workers.

Portugal combines direct connections to many European cities and selected US gateways, a generally mild climate, and strong value relative to much of Western Europe. Within a small country you can choose between a capital city, three coastlines, wine country, mountains, and Atlantic islands — so the destination can match your team, not the other way around.

A typical 3-day retreat runs €700–€4,000+ per person all-in: accommodation, meals, activities, ground transfers, and meeting space — everything except international flights. Published estimates are final client prices and include supplier VAT where applicable and our currently VAT-exempt planning fee. A full corporate retreat covers accommodation, all meals, ground transfers, meeting and breakout space, team activities, and on-the-ground coordination — everything except international flights. We design the agenda before anyone flies and run the logistics so your team can focus on the work and each other.

It depends on your team. Lisbon is the easiest logistics and scales to large groups; Alentejo is wine country and calm; Porto & Douro pair a river city with vineyard estates; the Algarve is beach-forward. We compare them honestly — including who each region is not for — on our destinations guide.

For the peak months — May, June, September, and October — start 4–6 months ahead to get the best venues. Off-season retreats can come together in 6–8 weeks. Either way, we reply to every enquiry with venue ideas and a transparent quote within 1–3 business days.

From founder teams of 5 to full-company retreats of 200. Small groups usually take over a villa or quinta; larger groups use boutique hotels or full-venue takeovers. Our planning model is particularly well suited to teams of 15–60 people.
